Description

These Energy Balls are a delicious and nutritious snack, perfect for a quick energy boost any time of day.


Ingredients

Scale

1 cup rolled oats or quick oats

1/2 cup peanut butter or allergy friendly sub

1/4 cup pure maple syrup or honey or agave

1 tbsp chia seeds

1/8 tsp salt

optional handful mini chocolate chips or raisins


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, peanut butter, maple syrup, chia seeds, and salt.
  2. Stir until well mixed. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or raisins.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
