- 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
- Pinch of salt and ground black pepper
- 2 (16 oz) packages spaghetti
- 4 (15 oz) jars Alfredo sauce
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning (or to taste)
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder (or to taste)
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (or to taste)
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste)
- 1 ½ cups shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 2 cups chopped broccoli (optional)
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and save ½ cup pasta water.
- Cook chicken chunks seasoned with salt and pepper in a skillet over medium heat until golden and cooked through.
- Add chopped onion to the chicken and sauté until soft; then stir in garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour in Alfredo sauce, reduce heat to simmer, and stir in Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if using.
- Combine cooked pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to adjust consistency.
- Add broccoli (optional) and cook 2–3 minutes until tender and vibrant.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and basil if desired.
